Lynsey Marie Adams and Carson Anthony Koury were married at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at Lakeview Community Church, Burlington. E. Reid Dickens officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Teri Adams of Burlington. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Winfred E. Aldridge of Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. James F. “Buddy” Adams of Burlington; and Mrs. Sandra Arenas of Elon and the late Cass Arenas.

The groom is the son of Brad and Lynn Koury of Burlington. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Koury of Burlington; Mr. and Mrs. Steve Helms of Burlington; and the late Peggy Helms.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore an Allure Couture organza gown gown with a fitted bodice and featuring Swarovski crystals detailing the one-shoulder strap. Her skirt featured organza with three-dimensional effects and accents of feathers. She carried a bouquet of yellow roses accented with white feathers, and she wore a tiara that her sister, Lesli, wore on her wedding day.

Matron of honor was Lesli Honeycutt, and maid of honor was Lori Beth Adams, both of Burlington and sisters of the bride. bridesmaids were Natalie Phillips of Mebane, cousin of the bride; Stuart Sutton of Julian and Porter Koury and Chandler Koury, both of Burlington, all sisters of the groom; and Karie Vaughn of Burlington.
The groom’s father served as best man. Groomsmen were Ern Koury, cousin of the groom, plus size dresses plus size dresses and Darrell Davis, both of Burlington, Ty Anderson of Whitsett; C.J. Gantos of Gibsonville; Trey Manning of Pantego; and Jacob Wrenn of Prospect Hill. Ushers were David Honeycutt, brother-in-law of the bride, and Jeff Kidd, cousin of the bride, both of Burlington; and Nathan Phillips and Nicholas Phillips, both of Mebane and cousins of the bride.
Ring bearer was Whitaker Lee Honeycutt of Burlington, nephew of the bride, and flower girl was Meredith Koonts of Gibsonville.
Teresa Billings of Burlington served as wedding director. Program attendants were Nikki Clifton and Ashley Huffman, both of Burlington. Guest registrar was Katie Page of Burlington.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents entertained with a reception at the Lakeview Community Church Family Life Center, Burlington.
The bride graduated from Western Alamance High School and Appalachian State University, Boone, with a degree in public relations communications and communications disorders.
The groom-elect graduated from Western Alamance High School and N.C. State University, Raleigh, maternity prom dress maternity prom dress with a degree in business management. He is owner of Buttermilk Creek Outfitters, Burlington.
After a surprise honeymoon trip, the couple will live in Burlington.
